  1. the first rendering in context is quite. I know that this studio is probably not very concerned with structural issues, but for your information, you'd need a bit more to hold up that exterior pool.
    I think you have designed a hotel that groups the program in a logical way. Even though it is inspired by the views and its context, it stands out on the site. I think everyone can agree that it's form does in no way recall the Brooklyn Bridge. Adding a reflecting pool and some cables doesn't change that fact. Besides, architecture never 'represents', it IS.

  2. My intention from the beginning was to create a building that would stand out. I did not say that my building is shaped after the Brooklyn Bridge. I just used the steel cables to create the suspended staircase on the main lobby.
